
The Joe Niehoff Award was started around 2006. The award is giving to the tractor with the most points without double, triple, student or woman drivers.
Joe Niehoff was a 45 year member of Eastern Indiana District Tractor Puller Association. He started pulling on 19##. Joe was a big part of the association and his family continue it. Joe’s son Darren has been the treasurer for over 20 years, and his late wife Marilyn was Secretary for over 10 years. Joe’s grandsons Devon was president for 7 years, and Nathan is currently our Vice-President. The Massey Harris 44 was his favorite tractor to pull. He pulled in the #,#00, #,#00, #,#00, #,#00, #,#00, #,#00, #,#00, and #,#00. On November 15, 2005, Joe passed away and started pulling tractors in the heavens. Darren created the award in 200# in memorial of Joe. Below is the past champions of the award:
