On August 16, 2025, the Eastern Indiana District Tractor Puller Association held its weekly pull, which featured 110 hooks, setting a new record for the year. The weather was hot at first. In the middle of the second set of classes, storms were around us, which made a nice cool breeze. The last set of classes was the best because there was a storm north of us, which produced a neat thunderstorm. The ground conditions were about the same as last week, but they were suitable for playhouses to form.
The classes for this week were won by:
- 10,000 lbs | Dave Angle | Oliver 1850-9
- 5,500 lbs | Mike Mastin | Farmall “Blacky” 560-32
- 9,500 lbs | Bruce Logan | Cockshutt 1850-52
- 6,000 lbs | Dave Angle | Oliver 1650-10
- 9,000 lbs | Doug Harpring | Farmall 826-24
- 6,500 lbs | Mike Mastin | Farmall “Blacky” 560-32
- 8,500 lbs | Kevin Byrnes | Farmall 706-70
- 7,000 lbs | Doug Harpring | Farmall 656-45
Congrats to all the pullers. The next competition is August 23rd, start time: 9:00 a.m. sharp at Niedenthal’s.
